The Union

Three tradesmen meet after a terrorist bombing results in the loss of their families. They share a common misfortune and an overwhelming desire to do something against those who destroyed their wives and children. They form The Union.

What could a general contractor, an electrician, and a plumber do to stop terrorism that was beyond the capabilities of their own government? The Union surmised that Arab states might stop funding terrorists if the same radical Muslims they supported; attacked Dubai for imitating Western culture. Thus, the contractors decide to bring costly devastation to Dubai in the ‘name’ of radical Islam.

Their idea seemed, to them at least, fairly straightforward; however, they didn’t plan on having to work in Afghanistan for six months before reaching Dubai, and they certainly were not prepared to have their plumber kidnapped by Afghani insurgents whose Mullah was an authority on American history.

Flexible yet stubborn; they remained committed to a job they knew would guarantee them a place in hell. Ordinary tradesmen, skilled in construction – can be terrifyingly efficient in destruction.
